- Signer must appear in person or via RON
- Verify identity with satisfactory evidence
- Signer doesn't need to sign in your presence
- Common for deeds, contracts, powers of attorney

Purpose: Signer swears content is true
- Signer MUST sign in your presence
- Administer oath or affirmation
- Verify signer's identity
- Common for affidavits, depositions

📄 Copy Certification
Purpose: Certify copy is true and correct
- Compare copy with original
- Only non-recordable documents
- Cannot certify birth/death certificates
- Document owner must be present

👁️ Signature Witnessing
Purpose: Witness document signing
- Signer MUST sign in your presence
- Verify signer's identity
- No oath required
- Less common than other acts

🤝 Oath/Affirmation
Purpose: Administer verbal oath
- No document may be involved
- Verbal ceremony only
- Person swears truthfulness
- Record in journal
